PRESS RELEASE: STONINGTON REPUBLICAN PARTY Elected officials David Brown, for the Board of Finance and Katie Gauthier for the Board of Education, were sworn in by Sally Duplice the morning of November 9, 2023 to begin their term of office. David Brown said he pledges that the needs of all Stonington residents, - not partisan politics - will always come first. “I will tackle the challenges of making Stonington affordable for all current residents.” Katie Gauthier stated she looks forward to working with students & families, teachers & staff, and our exceptional community for a positive collaboration which supports the next generation. “My background in education combined with being a lifelong resident and mom of an elementary student just further enhances my commitment to Stonington and the Board of Education.” ------------------------- Swearing in is a wonderful moment where we can come together to support our town.
