Look inside for the latest information on the short-term rental ordinance advanced by First Selectwoman Danielle Chesebrough. We’ve also included a handy summary of all of the 2023 meeting dates of Stonington's Board of Selectmen, Board of Education and Board of Finance. We encourage you to attend these meetings to lend your voice and views on important town issues. Speaking of town news, read about  our latest community service project to support the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center!

The 2023 Hartford Legislative session has begun, and it’s been quite a start! While it’s impossible to summarize all of the bills in one brief newsletter, we provide a sampling of the wild bills Democrats have introduced. Their proposed legislation is contrasted with the common sense and practical bills that Republicans have put forth to help solve real problems that Connecticut residents face each day. Our message - what happens in Hartford has a direct impact on you.

We illustrate that impact in areas such as taxation, parental rights, elections, and state regulations to name a few. View the Hartford Round Up and related articles, and get a clear picture of what Republicans want to do for you!
